A Fully Residential +2 Science College, affiliated to the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa
The residential system of education has been adopted in this institution. A student once admitted in the 1st year class during the month of June, his/her studentship continues here till the completion of CHSE examination. Therefore, for the betterment of the students' performance, 1st year course is being completed by the month of February every year and the teaching of 2nd year course is begun from the 1st April next. Under this circumstance RCST has been academic session for the 1st year and 2nd year students from June to March and April to the end of CHSE examination respectively.
